Your guide to a confident smile with Aligner Studio

Congratulations on taking the first step! This guide is your companion for a smooth and successful treatment with your new clear aligners. Please keep it handy for reference throughout your journey to a beautiful, confident smile.

What's in Your Aligner Studio Package

Your kit contains everything you need. Let's get familiar with each item:

Your Custom Aligners

The most important part! Each set is numbered. Always use them in order and store previous sets safely in the box.

The Aligner Case

Your aligners' home when they're not in your mouth. Use it during meals to keep them safe and clean.

The Aligner Seater

Gently bite down on this soft tool after inserting your aligners to help ensure a perfect, snug fit.

The Removal Tool

The safe and easy way to take your aligners out. Simply hook it on the back molar and gently lift.

Getting Started Guide

Follow these simple steps for a successful treatment journey

1

Putting Them In

Start with Set 1, Week 1. Rinse aligners with cool water. Position them over your teeth and press gently until they snap into place. Use the Aligner Seater for a final secure fit.

2

Wearing Them

Wear your aligners for 20-22 hours a day, removing them only to eat, drink anything other than water, and for oral hygiene. Consistency is key to staying on track.

3

Taking Them Out

Always use clean hands. Start from the inside back molars using the Removal Tool or your fingers. Work gently from one side to the other to avoid bending the plastic.

4

Changing to the Next Set

Follow your provided schedule. Typically, you will change to a new set every 1-2 weeks. Your first few days with a new set may involve some pressure—this is normal and a sign they are working.

5

Cleaning Them Daily

Rinse aligners every time you remove them. Brush them gently with a soft toothbrush and cool water. Avoid hot water and toothpaste, as they can cloud or damage the plastic.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about your Aligner Studio treatment

Is some discomfort normal?

Yes. Mild pressure or soreness for the first 2-3 days with a new set is common and signals your teeth are moving. This usually subsides quickly. If discomfort persists beyond this, please contact our support team.

What if an aligner doesn't seem to fit?

First, ensure you are using the correct set. Use your Aligner Seater and wear the aligners consistently. Small gaps at the start of a new set often close within a few days. If a large gap persists, contact us with photos.

What if I lose or break an aligner?

Don't panic! Go back to wearing your previous set if comfortable, and contact our support team immediately. We will advise you on the best next step, which may be moving forward or waiting for a replacement.

Can I drink coffee with them in?

We strongly recommend removing aligners for any colored or hot drinks to prevent staining and warping. Always brush your teeth before putting them back in. If you must drink with them in, use a straw and rinse immediately afterward.

How do I clean my aligners properly?

Rinse with cool water every time you remove them. Brush gently with a soft toothbrush and cool water only. Once daily, you can use aligner cleaning crystals or a mild, non-abrasive soap. Never use toothpaste, mouthwash, or hot water.
